Wife to General Overseer of the Living Christian church has donated mosquito nets to 60 people with disabilities under Joy Abilities Empowerment (JAE).
Monica Chokhotho said she saw an advert from Family Health services that they are distributing mosquito nets to different people and took an interest to help those in need.
“I called for help, and I was given 83 mosquito nets of which 58 were given to JAE while 25 are to be distributed to an organisation that looks for the blind in Nkhotakota.” Said Chokhotho.
She said she took that interest to help the beneficiaries prevent maleria.
“I’m very thankful to Family health services for providing us with the nets and trusting me that I will give their donation to people who really need this.” Said Chokhotho.
He asked other well wishers to help JAE with whatever they can citing the difficult times the country is passing through.
JAE Executive director, Benardetter Vaz said her organisation is facing alot of challenges as they are failing to help the people with disabilities accordingly.
“You can see that this time, there is hunger in the country we can not manager to take care of every home and we need partners to come to our rescue in providing food and other staff to these people so that they can also live a better life.” Said Vaz.
She said, “We are greatfull to Family health services and madam Chokhotho in particular for the Donation which will go along in prevention of maleria and improve in the health of the beneficiaries.”
